If the first word out of Jim's mouth when asked by our taxi driver upon arrival back into San Diego was "fantastic"describing our Walk, then I guess that one word could summarizes our experience along the Thames River. As you know, this was our fourth experience with self-guided walking tours in southern England and without a doubt the best one. All accommodations were to our standards, and in several cases, better than expected.The rooms were beautifully appointed and bathtubs were so welcomed. Our feet say "thank you." The luggage transfers worked without a glitch. One suggestion, however, would be to place your company's contact information as well as the client's itinerary on tags attached to the luggage. If anything, that practice reduces client stress about a possible mix-up (has happened to us with another company. Another suggestion would be to make the hotel reservation in the client's name instead of yours to cut down on confusion with hotel reception staff. Thank you for securing all the train tickets which can be a hassle especially during rush hour. Your specific written direction to our accommodations were clear and easy to follow and the accompanying maps and guide book were extremely helpful where signage was either missing or confusing. Without a doubt we will recommend your company to friends seeking a similar experience to ours and in the future we'll do business again this time with a combo trip to include the Cotswolds and the Lake District. Thank you for arranging such an enjoyable experience.
